We’re web guys and we spent more than we’d like in front of the screen so we’ve had the pleasure of extensively trying all modern web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.
As a company who build websites and develop help articles to assist our clients in using our website softwares, we commonly get asked why something may not be working. A common answer is that they are using Internet Explorer as their browser which has its downsides. Below are why we do not recommend using Internet Explorer for your website editing and browsing and why we will always recommend Google Chrome.
- Internet Explorer is not Website Design friendly. As a MyWebDesigners client you are using our easy Page Builder to customise our professional design templates and edit your own content. Internet Explorer is actually coded in a different way to all of the other web browsers available and so many website softwares do not choose to support Internet Explorer editing with their software. Our Page Builder software also does not support editing with Internet Explorer. NOTE: the website you create with the MyWebDesigners Page Builder will still look great in Internet Explorer for your customers who are using Internet Explorer as their web browser, but the Page Builder just does not function as well for you when using the Page Builder to build your website.
